Welcome to our site!
I have gone back and forth on the future of my herd, and after a lot of consideration, I have decided it is in the best interest of the goats and mine to disperse the majority of my herd.
I started the Hog Wild herd when I was just 12 years old. I saw a video on Youtube with Nigerian Dwarfs and knew from that moment that I needed them. I started with my 2 wethers, but quickly realized that I wanted more than just pets. Since then, I have grown, and so has the herd. I have invested lots of time, money, and energy into them to create something I am proud of. They may not be national champions, but they are my pride and joy. Not having them will be an adjustment to say the least.
I could probably write a 20 paragraph sappy post about this, but I think this one gets the message across.
On a happy note, I plan to keep my original 3 wethers, along with 2 does. I also still plan to attend some shows and stay involved in the goat community. But I will most likely not be breeding again or showing my own animals after this year. Thank you to everyone who has supported this time in my life. Hopefully I’ll be able to return to it in my later years!
